The fuming father-in-law of the married woman who romped with a Tory MP behind his wife’s back has quit his post with the Conservative Party. Steve Double, 49, MP for St Austell and Newquay, confessed to an affair with his office assistant Sarah Bunt, 26, and admitted he had behaved ‘completely inappropriately’.
