The time has come to celebrate an idea that began as a simple challenge to Boulder citizens. Forty years ago this month, a crazy challenge of a "Bike to Work" day was put out to the community hoping to encourage folks of all ages to dust off the old bicycle, fix the flat bike tire, and try biking to work or school.
