The grassy patch of ground at 560 N. Hamilton Ave. is known in our neighborhood by a number of euphemisms. It’s “where the tragedy occurred,” “where the murders happened,” or simply “the property on Hamilton Avenue.” As if there were only one. Of course it has a wider claim to notoriety — the site of the worst mass killing in the city’s history.
