In this May 10 photo, Argelia Gamboa, Roberto Bernal's widow, sits on a sofa with a family pet, in a hillside slum in Caracas, Venezuela. A mob beat her husband unconscious and then burned him alive. Gamboa says her husband was so badly burned by the mob that she walked right past him when she rushed to the hospital.
