| Rev. Ellsworth Freyer left legacy of caring for and motivating others |
|
For 25 years, the Rev. Ellsworth Freyer had the official position of "team motivator" for Homestead High School's football team — a volunteer role he cherished. Following one big victory that pushed Homestead into the state playoffs in 2006, he played his harmonica to a laughing team huddle and then lit sparklers on his ever-present spirit stick.
