In the early evening of Thursday (April 7), the crowd gathered outside Marigny Opera House was a who's who of Louisiana culture such as Zachary Richard and Ernest Gaines . Among those who joined them were Gov. John Bel Edwards and Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser, as well as Mayor Mitch Landrieu.
