March 27, 1949 – Feb. 26, 2016. The Rev. Dr. Philip S. Gittings III, interim pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Buffalo, died unexpectedly Feb. 26. He was 66. Born in Pittsburgh, he was a 1967 graduate of Dunkirk High School and attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa.
