| Detroit Catholic pastor Kohler dies at 72 |

Msgr. Russell Kohler, the pastor at Ste. Anne de Detroit and Most Holy Trinity Catholic churches in Detroit who founded the Pope John XXIII Hospitality House for cancer patients, died today, according to the Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. He was 72 and had been suffering from heart problems, said a friend.
