Bay-Waveland honors Herbert as Teacher of Year. The Bay St. Louis-Waveland School District's Teacher of the Year is Tarah Herbert, who also was named Bay High's Teacher of the Year. A Bay High teacher for five years, Herbert received her degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2011.
