Motto Assoula Michel Aimé tried to release a detainee from gendarmerie custody when his true identity was uncovered. Luck ran out on March 14, 2016 in Yaounde for a 38-year-old man who had been passing for a Superintendent of Police, SP (or ‘Officier de police principal’) as he tried to release a detained suspect from gendarmerie custody.
