FORT PIERCE Tears ran down the cheeks of Erfolla Alexis, a founding member of the Independent Haitian Assembly of God. An early Monday morning crash involving the church’s van claimed the lives or seriously injured the church’s central leadership. Church Pastor Esperant Lexine, 57, is in critical condition in Tampa General Hospital.
