This NOAA satellite image taken, Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, at 12:45 p.m. EST, shows a stationary front over the Mid-Atlantic extending westward into the Lower Mississippi River Valley. Two areas of low pressure have developed along this front. One is off the Mid-Atlantic Coast.
