FARMER CITY — On second thought, Mike Jenkins won't step down as mayor of Farmer City. Two days after declaring on his mayoral Facebook page that he decided to resign — two months shy of his five-year anniversary on the job — Jenkins told the LeRoy/Farmer City Press on Sunday that he now plans to stay put.
