CHEROKEE, Iowa | Richard D. "Butch" Bergert, 72, of Cherokee, passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at home after a struggle with pancreatic cancer. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Presbyterian Church in Cherokee, with Pastor Caleb Plumb officiating. According to his wishes, cremation will take place.
