Wayne County officials today are announcing a new fundraising initiative to help investigate and prosecute cases tied to thousands of backlogged rape kits. County Executive Warren Evans and Prosecutor Kym Worthy are starting the Bringing Justice Initiative, which aims to raise $50,000 in donations from faith-based groups in the next month.
