Christian pastors usually don't like to talk politics. The Internal Revenue Service opposes political proselytizing from the pulpit, and, not uncommonly, so do the faithful. But a recent survey by Baptist-sponsored LifeWay Research discovered that more than half -- 54 percent -- of Protestant clergy consider themselves Republicans.
