It was apples galore. Apples in bags. Apples in pies. Apples in baskets. Apples in the fryer. Apples practically in the air. It was also antiques, clothes and more galore. It was Apple Fest at St. John's United Methodist Church in downtown Aiken. The free-to-attend – but not to eat the famed fried apple pies – event kicked off at 8 a.
