A former Austrian lawyer has admitted to the theft of gold bars worth 810,000 dollars from an elderly lady with the help of Romanian criminals, the suspect’s lawyer said on Monday. According to the indictment, the 42-year-old lawyer had befriended the 78-year-old woman through their shared love of opera.
