BESSEMER CITY, N.C. (AP) - A pastor in North Carolina says mental illness is what drove a "pillar of the community" to ram his sport utility vehicle into his family as they shared a meal at a restaurant. Authorities say Roger Self killed his daughter and daughter-in-law and critically injured other relatives.
