MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN – A major avalanche caused the closure of all lifts on Mammoth Mountain on Saturday. March 3. At about 10:15 a.m., ski patrol was performing avalanche control mitigation when the avalanche released on the upper mountain traveling toward the High-five express chair.
