The old steeple and bell were removed from atop St. Stephen's Church in San Luis Obispo on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018. A fire in the 1970s destroyed the original steeple, and the current one needed replacing. It's is the second oldest church in the city, and the oldest wooden building.
