The Rev. Kaiti Collins stood at a table Tuesday in her office in the First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan with the ingredients for a perfect Ash Wednesday before her. As she mixed dirt, ashes and olive oil she explained her process. “I draw significance from a few things I add into it,” she said.
