FAYETTEVILLE — Charles David “Jaybird” “Birdie” Evans, 81, of Fayetteville, died at 2:47 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born Aug. 21, 1936, in Bedford, he was the son of Murl James and Thelma (Miller) Evans. He married Phyllis Diana Inman on June 19, 1959, and she survives.
