- The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) says the defection of former Governor Sa'idu Dakingari and some other members is undemocratic. - Ibrahim Umar Ummai, said he was sure Dakingari and the others were deceived into leaving the PDP. - APC says the former governor and the other decampees have the right to join any political organisation.
