The congregation at Lutheran Church of Hope in Broomfield has approved an affordable housing project aimed at helping foster children who age out of the system. Church members met Nov. 5 to hear an update on the plan and approved the formation of a nonprofit and a seven-member board of directors to run manage the venture.
