|
Corrections & Clarifications: Nancy Dyl's name was misspelled in a previous version of this story. For as many as 18 years, William Marion Carter was a ghost. Officials say the 67-year-old resident of Riverside, California, lived under the name James Carter or a number of other aliases, and had an Arizona driver’s license to help him pull it off.
