Chandler Vice Mayor Kevin Hartke announced he will run for mayor in 2018 as Jay Tibshraeny reaches the mayoral term limit. The coming year could bring plenty of political change to the Southeast Valley city. Tibshraeny has been mayor since the mid-1990s, apart from an eight-year stint in the state Senate.
