It was a bittersweet day at Maria Regina School in Seaford as they dedicated their new playground in the name of Nassau County Police Officer Michael J. Califano. Officer Califano was both an alumnus and parent of Maria Regina School. He was killed in the line of duty, protecting and serving our community on February 5th, 2011.
