| Dallas Mayor Names Confederate Monuments Task Force |

Amid the nationwide controversy, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings announced the members of his task force on Confederate monuments. "It is critical that this task force be an independent, qualified and diverse panel," Rawlings said in a news release Thursday. Frances Waters, will serve as the chair of the task force.
