Her big day was a Saturday in late April, so I flew into the beach resort city on Mexico’s Bahia de Banderas on Thursday. I checked into Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel & Romantic Getaway, an adults-only property, with time to spare before sunset. The receptionist greeted me with a welcome drink and asked what aroma I desired in my room.
