LA PORTE, TX — Children in La Porte are brushing up on their reading skills and getting a head start to the school year, thanks to the efforts of a local church that transformed an old RV into a book mobile. Officials with the Fairmont Park Church, which has two campuses in La Porte, had seen an old flat black RV on the side of the road in town.
