Dallas closes Tent City part 2 Tuesday
Ron Allen packed up a few belongings Tuesday morning as another homeless encampment he had called home was closed. Allen, 50, once called himself mayor of Tent City, the massive shantytown near downtown under Interstate 45. He tried to move on from that title when that encampment closed in May. He hoped he would be in a home soon after.
