CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are conducting a death investigation after a body was discovered on the lawn of East Stonewall AME Zion Church in northwest Charlotte. A landscaping crew was working on the lawn of the church on Griers Grove Road and found the body, police said.
