Former Huber pastor pleads guilty to stealing $1.9 M
By Staff Writer. Lynn Hulsey The Rev. Earl Simone, 75, pleaded guilty today in the theft of $1.9 million from St. Peter Catholic Church in Huber Heights, where he was pastor for 23 years until retiring last April. He also agreed to serve a 5 year prison sentence, repay the money and assist in the prosecution of anyone else involved.

Former St. Peter’s priest pleads guilty to $1.5M theft
UPDATE @ 2:27 p.m. Lynn Hulsey Fr. Simone’s guilty plea to one count aggravated theft of $1.5 million has been accepted by the court in Montgomery County. Simone agreed to a five-year prison sentence, but official sentencing is scheduled for April 22. He is free on bond until sentencing. Simone also waived all appeal rights.
