New Ross & District notes Wonderful concert - The recent fundraising concert in Poulpeasty was a huge success, according to local organisers. Local Notes
Over 300 people crowded into Christ the King Church to hear local soprano sisters, Clodagh and Stephanie Kinsella, sing a range of classical favourites. Songs included You Raise Me Up, Danny Boy and the closing number, Time To Say Goodbye. A long standing ovation was given by the captivated audience....

Travel: Small ship cruising resurfaces on the Great Lakes
Learning that small passenger ships were again sailing the Great Lakes from Toronto to Chicago was, for me, akin to discovering a new American coastline had been found. “Last year there were 30 voyages through the Great Lakes carrying 6,000 passengers, and that is expected to double in 2019,” says Heidi Allison, president of CruiseComplete.
