50 States Smokey Bear, tarantula trek: News from 50 states
Biloxi: Hurricane Katrina left lasting scars on the Hurricane Camille Memorial at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. The church reached out to the Biloxi Fire Department, which, in turn, reached out to Lodging and Leisure Investments for help in returning the memorial to its best condition in light of the storm’s upcoming 50th anniversary.

More rain expected for the weekend
A countrywide weather warning ended this morning. However, there's some more bad conditions expected this weekend. A status yellow alert was lifted at seven o'clock this morning after heavy downpours overnight. Up to 40 millimetres fell in some places.
