When Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, spoke at the Spotlight on the budget event on October 10, and again on i95 Radio on Thursday gone, he repeatedly said (as I am sure he has at other fora) that the country has to go into a different mode of operating—essentially doing more with less and getting better value for money.

Community gathers for funeral and burial of ISP Trooper Peter Stephan
KOKOMO, Ind. – Surrounded by family, friends and law enforcement from Indiana and around the country, Indiana State Trooper Peter “Bo” Stephan was laid to rest. Friday was the funeral, procession and burial for Stephan, 27, who died Oct. 11, involved in a single-car crash while responding to a call for backup in Lafayette.

Vietnamese Hoa Hao Follower Goes on Hunger Strike in Prison
A jailed member of a dissident Vietnamese religious group has gone on hunger strike to protest being moved to a cell occupied by a prisoner convicted on drug charges, family members said on Wednesday.
