Miller the second MP to quit parliament over bullying this month
Two long-serving MPs from opposite sides of politics have quit parliament in the past month amid claims of bullying inside both major parties. Bundamba MP Jo-Ann Miller, who had been at odds with the Labor Party for several years, handed in her r esignation on Thursday morning after describing "overt bullying" from her party.

Death row inmate orders final meal ahead of execution for killing child rapist
A death row killer who is set to be executed tonight has ordered his last meal ahead of his death. Nicholas Todd Sutton has been condemned to die in an electric chair dubbed "Old Smokey", for the killing of a child rapist and fellow inmate in the US state of Tennessee, in 1985.

Local parishes collaborate for Lenten Mission
Four Roman Catholic parishes – Our Lady of Pompeii, St. Mary of the Assumption in Lancaster, St. Martha and St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta in Depew – will cosponsor Surge of the Heart, a three-evening Lenten Parish Mission. The program is from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 9, Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11.
