HSE lifts the recruitment embargo on nurses and midwives to tackle Covid19
The recruitment embargo on nurses and midwives has been lifted. INMO General Secretary Phil Ní Sheaghdha says the HSE has confirmed the move, as all sides work to cope with the coronovirus outbreak. She says the lifting of the ban was vital, to protect frontline health workers and prevent the virus spreading in the community.

IFA concerned about more widespread flooding over the coming days
The Irish Farmers Association is concerned of more widespread flooding over the next three days. Met Eireann is warning 15 counties to expect heavy rain from today until Tuesday. The advisory affects the midlands and west, which was badly flooded last weekend. IFA president Tim Cullinan says farmers are very worried about the next few days.
