News Death of Radio Caroline founder
Tributes have flowed in from around the world following the death of Radio Caroline founder Ronan O'Rahilly, who died on Monday April 20 aged 79, in Carlingford Nursing Home. Ronan, a grandson of The O'Rahilly who was shot during the 1916 Rising, revolutionised the airwaves when he launched Radio Caroline on Easter Saturday 1964.
