A couple of stories up I have just read that the wearing of masks remains important. So why not during mass? This is the kind of confusion that we are creating. I need a mask to go shopping, but not at mass.
The Church has revised a number of COVID-19 measures that it had introduced when churches were allowed to reopen in mid-July, including the removal of the mandatory use of masks or visors when entering the church. Priests stopped celebrating mass inside churches for the public on 12 March as part of measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.
