The Latest: Utah State University to test 300 students
LOGAN, Utah — Utah State University plans to test nearly 300 students for COVID-19 after wastewater samples from four dormitories showed elevated levels of the coronavirus, school officials said Sunday. The 287 students who will be tested Sunday and Monday live in the Rich, Jones, Morgan and Davis dorms on the campus in Logan.

New cases of Covid-19 in Galway and Sligo with 42 confirmed nationally
Public health doctors have identified another 42 cases of Covid-19 here -- but no further deaths among patients. There were 24 in Dublin, six in Limerick, and twelve more spread across Carlow, Clare, Galway, Kildare, Longford, Offaly and Sligo. The death toll from the virus is 1,777.

Over the past day, there have been 157 new cases confirmed, of which 41 were international arrivals. There were also two deaths. The total number of cases is now 10,134, of which 5,657 were detected over the past month. The total number of deaths is 262, of which 56 occurred in the past month.
