Houston police sergeant's funeral set for Thursday after fatal shooting
Sgt. Harold Preston, 65, was shot multiple times at a southwest Houston apartment complex Oct. 20 after responding to a disturbance call, authorities said. A private funeral for the fallen officer will be held at Grace Church Houston at 11 a.m., reports said.
