Others were an "extremely nice" busboy and a Marine veteran who dedicated his life to service, including helping other veterans adjust to civilian life.

Golf scramble event a success
Board President Dave Layne reports that the 19th Annual Sebring Meals On Wheels Golf Scramble, held Saturday, Nov. 3, at Harder Hall, was deemed a success. The scramble started with a shotgun start of 76 golfers. A putting contest after the scramble rounded out the day’s events.

“Hey, I got to go handle a call. I love you. I’ll talk to you later,” he told her, according to Sheriff Geoff Dean. It was the last time she would talk to her husband.
