Members of three British families were among nearly 300 people killed in the series of terror attacks in Sri Lanka. Anita Nicholson, a 42-year-old lawyer based in Singapore, her son, Alex, 14, and daughter, Annabel, 11, died when a suicide bomber detonated a device in the breakfast queue at the Shangri-La hotel in Colombo.
