What would you rather be doing right now? Spending time with my grandkids. Shhhhhh! Don't tell anyone that ... I was a cocktail waitress in college.

I didn’t go very far with law. I stopped studying law in my third year at the university and decided to pursue music full time. Do you have any regrets? I don’t have any regrets. I think I formed some very important relationships while in school. I left law to pursue an ambition or a calling that I found to be very rewarding.

Toyin Falola. History, it is said, would always remember the brave and the weak, but with different records of deeds. For Chief Isaac Oluwole Delano who died 40 years ago, it is indeed a record of grace, splendour and wonder, but not without the beating of the sun and the rain that is typical in the journey of every great personality.

His song cycle “let me tell you” evokes a landscape as wintry as one in a Bruegel painting.
