Things Fall Apart in the church of refugees
Outside, traders have complained that business has been disrupted. The mass of people sleeping on Greenmarket Square has become a deterrent to buyers, especially tourists, who usually frequent the popular market. Some traders have been forced to pack up and leave as they are unable to pay rent, while others lose more and more income by the day.

OPENING OF THE NEW LAW YEAR 2020
On Monday, 13th January 2020, the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court will commence the New Law Year 2020 with the Ceremonial Opening in the form of a Special Sitting of the Court in Antigua & Barbuda. This Ceremony which usually took place in September has now been moved to January; this will be the first year the Ceremony takes place in January.

Status Yellow wind warning in place across Mayo & Galway
Eight coastal counties are on alert this morning as strong winds hit the country. Four status yellow warnings are in place, with Met Eireann predicting gusts of 110 kilometres per hour, as well as coastal flooding. The affected counties are Mayo, Galway, Donegal, Kerry, Cork, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.
