Sharjah Police arrest suspect in hit and run killing
A motorist suspected of killing a man in a hit and run incident on Monday was arrested by Sharjah Police. Police said the Asian driver, 47, ran over a 29-year-old pedestrian, also from Asia, on a street in Industrial Area 5 at 10.30pm before fleeing the scene. The injured man was taken to Al Qasimi Hospital, where he died shortly after.
