Salted egg potato chips: Rich, crispy and craveable
One of the hottest products in Singapore over the past few years has been salted egg potato chips. The addictive flavor comes from salted duck-egg yolk, which is used to create the extra-rich, crispy snack that has now spread across Asia. One Singaporean company, Irvins Salted Egg, even launched a pop-up in Tokyo last year.

24 new cases; zero Covid-19 deaths among OFs: DFA
MANILA The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Saturday reported no deaths from coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) among Filipinos abroad but 24 new cases were registered, bringing the total to 2,869. The death toll remains at 340 -- two from the Asia Pacific region, 91 in Europe, 97 in the Middle East/Africa, and 150 in the Americas.

Police charge 13 suspects with people trafficking over 39 migrants found dead in a lorry in Essex
Yesterday, it was revealed that the suspected key figure in the smuggling ring nicknamed 'The Bald Duke' was arrested. The man's nationality was not revealed. The 13 charged were arrested in France on Tuesday as part of a coordinated Europol swoop targeting the smugglers suspected of organising the migrants' journey from Asia.
