India stocks swing in volatile trade; rupee weakens
Indian equities closed lower in volatile trading yesterday on concerns from economy to coronavirus infections to a border clash with China. The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex dropped 0.1% after earlier rising as much as 0.9%. The index has risen more than 45% from a low in March, outperforming the MSCI Asia Pacific Index during this period.

Pakistani Christian sentenced to death for allegedly sending blasphemous texts
A Pakistani Christian has been sentenced to death for a 2013 incident in which he allegedly sent blasphemous text messages to a work colleague. Asif Pervaiz, 37, was found guilty in Lahore on Tuesday after being accused of sending the messages to his Muslim supervisor.
